Bewley's Ballsbridge, Dublin



We stayed here for a few days before we struck out for the wilds of Donegal. The hotel was built in the 1880's as a Masonic school.  Here we first encountered a strange phenomenon of Irish hotels. They are always at least 10 degrees C warmer than the outside air. Oh, there's also the familiar ice problem.
