There are 25 separate posts of Ireland pictures. Be sure to click on "Older Posts" to see them all. It's best to start from the earliest post to the 15th as that's the order in which they were taken. I'll work with KS to annotate the pictures, so check back.
Videos to follow.
I know what you mean in that first post about forgetting to take pictures. I regularly go on trips and forget to take pictures. I'll check back as you label all of them - but I want the stories to!
ReplyDeleteLooking at your pics I was reminded again of how much I hated the English and especially Cromwell when I was there. And how rural and undeveloped a lot of Ireland is. I think a lot of people in America associate Irish with "urban" because so many Irish immigrants settled in the big urban ares. But what a culture shock that must have been for them. A welcome relief to have a roof over the head and food in the mouth but how they must have missed all the green.
Well I have no idea what you mean by forgetting to take pictures. In fact, I had no idea it was possible to go longer than 10 minutes without stopping to take a photograph of something. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe countryside is so gorgeous. I especially like the shots of Slieve League and Inch Island. My father was in Ireland for short time in WWII and he said that he didn't know what green was until he went to Ireland. I hope someday I'll have to go and see some green for myself but this was an excellent vicarious journey.
