The walled city of Derry was built in the early 1600's as a walled city to protect the the occupying English from the local Irish. I found the trip disturbing. Everything was marked by hatred and violence. While we were in Ireland the report on Bloody Sunday was released which is a step in the right direction, but Ireland needs to be one country. The English have done so much damage in the world. Shakespeare doesn't make up for it all.
